Deacquanita Renee , originally from Birmingham, Alabama, retired from the Navy in 2007 as a Lieutenant Commander after 21 years of distinguished service and now resides in Pensacola, Florida. During her military career, she earned numerous achievements and commendation medals, her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Auburn University, and her master's Degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy State University. After retiring from the Navy, Deacquanita worked as a Counselor, Treatment Services Coordinator, and Clinical Supervisor for ten years at an opiate addiction treatment center. After resigning from her position at the treatment center, she pursued her passion for writing. She is the author of Faith to Inspire, A Journey from Pain to Purpose, a memoir released in June 2020. It is a women's empowerment book that takes a faith-based approach to guiding women toward healthy relationships and personal growth. She created Faith2Inspire, LLC, to reflect her commitment to helping women find strength and purpose through faith, particularly in overcoming relationship trauma.
