About a year ago, due to technical difficulties, I had to do a factory reset on my phone. Everything was erased and I had to set it up as if it were new. In the case of my phone the factory reset did not resolve the problem and I had to get a new phone.
The process of resetting my phone reminded me of the GRACE of God which allows us to do a factory reset of our lives everyday! Unlike my phone, resets orchestrated by God never fail.
No matter what you’ve done, God is a God of second, third, and infinite number of chances. His word says that His compassion towards you never fails. It is that unfailing love and faithfulness which allows you to start fresh each day. The unmerited favor and grace He extends towards you is the foundation of new beginnings. Be encouraged, God's plan never fails. Each morning, you get another chance.
Lamentations 3:22-23 ~ “It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
