Life is full of distractions and it can be difficult to keep the faith at times. Our hopes and dreams see so distant, but God is ever present orchestrating the events of our lives. I met with some friends recently and we were discussing how some people always seem to have some type of drama going on in their lives. We began to discuss how they always seem to be up to something. Somehow or conversation shifted to God and we said, “He’s always up to something!”
It’s our job to believe that God is working things out for our good. However, we must remember that we have a part to play in the outcome. First, we must believe in God’s promises, despite what we see. There are things going on in the spiritual realm that we cannot see with our natural eyes. Second, we must have laser focus on God so we can follow the path he has set for us. Finally, we must always be grateful for our current holding pattern. It is during this time that God prepares us for something BIG!
2 Corinthians 5:7 - “For we live by believing and not by seeing.”
