You are God’s masterpiece, a one of a kind original and kind of a big deal! I said all that to say, stop criticizing yourself. You are a work in progress and God is your Project Manager. How you see yourself and how He sees you are totally different.
You look at your flaws while He looks at your potential. His Word is the blueprint for your development, but you have free will to decide if you will live your life according to His plans. If you’ve ever seen a construction site, you know that in the development phase things may look a hot mess. It is when the project is completed that everything falls into place.
It’s the same with you. God’s vision for your life has already been established. However, some of your choices may have things looking out of order and you can’t make sense of it.
Your job is to trust the process with the confidence in knowing that what He has started will come to fruition. “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6
