Life will present many challenging situations. As believers you’re not exempt from tests and trials. Your response to the obstacles you face will correspond with your level of faith and how your attitude resembles that of Christ.
The benefits of the believer are plentiful and in return for such blessings your attitude should be a reflection of his teachings. The way you think and behave are critical to living a Christian life. It should go without saying that you cannot be an ambassador for Christ with a stinking attitude.
How you respond to the circumstances and people in your life are a reflection of your profession of faith. The test of your walk with Christ is demonstrated by your behavior aligning with His word.
You are to live humbly as He did and by doing so you will please God and reap eternal benefits. You can be an example of Christ-like behavior, be a blessing and be blessed. Alternatively, you can also follow your flesh, do things your way and suffer the consequences.
Bottom line, the choice is yours. Choose wisely and be blessed abundantly. In order to live according to His will and plan for your life you must, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 2:5 KJV If you have a mind to follow him, you will develop an ability to obey him.
