Be Humble

Being humble is not a sign of weakness or an abandonment of what you believe in. Being humble eliminates arrogance and allows you to operate from a non-judgmental perspective.

It means you do not regard yourself as better than anyone else.  Having humility allows you to operate with a spirit of grace because you appreciate the fact that everyone has flaws.

God extends forgiveness, grace and mercy to you at all times. Therefore, He requires you to do the same to everyone you interact with. Being humble comes easy when you look at others with the eyes and heart of Christ.

Your love for one another fuels your ability to be humble and gentle towards each other. Because the Holy Spirit is operating inside of you, compassion outweighs criticism and cancels pride.

Remember the gentleness God shows toward you. Think about how much He loves you, in spite of you. Extend the same grace to one another as God does for you. Let your love for each other manifest humbleness and gentleness.

“Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.” Ephesians 4:2 NLT
