In this world you will constantly deal with the attacks of the enemy. Since Satan is the enemy of Christ, he is your enemy too. He will use a variety of tactics to try and stop you from doing the things you are called to do or have the things you are entitled to have.
The enemy is so ruthless that he will use anything, anyone and any set of circumstances to keep you from your divine purpose. It is not your things that he’s after, he’s after your soul and all the good works God has ordained for you to accomplish.
I understand that some believers don’t like to speak of the enemy. Some feel we give him too much credit. However, facts are facts and we live in a world where we must deal with good and evil.
The very good news is: the enemy has no power over you. Your goal should be to remain in the will of God so victory will be yours! There will even be times when you are out of his will, but he covers you with His grace and mercy anyway.
The Word teaches us in Part B of Isaiah 59:19, “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” You do not need to worry about the floods of life overtaking you. Christ’s everlasting Gospel, which spans across the universe will conquer the enemy as we are filled with the knowledge of Christ.
Sometimes, we don’t experience victory in areas of life because we don’t employ the knowledge of Christ, which we obtain by reading and obeying His Word. You don’t have to worry about the floods of life when you trust God to raise a standard against them according to His word.
