You’ve probably heard of a series of movies called “Mission Impossible” where the lead character would find himself in some situations that he’d somehow manage to escape which seemed beyond human capability. Although entertaining when watching a movie, most of you don’t want your life to reflect the fears and trepidations played out on the big screen.
Personally, you’ve probably experienced certain situations that you believed were impossible to resolve. Human nature causes you to place limitations on what’s possible. However, as believers, you must remember to rely not on your own thinking and abilities, but instead look to God for all things. He understands your doubts and fears, and stands ready to assist you always.
Matthew 16:26 says, “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Earlier, in verse 24 it refers to how it would be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Thankfully, by God’s grace, the heart of the rich man can be changed from chasing worldly wealth to seeking the riches of his kingdom. This is only one biblical illustration of how something that is virtually impossible for man IS possible with God.
The key to achieving the impossible is not the reliance on your abilities, but rather your total dependence on God’s word and commitment to his will for your life. If you put your trust in him and seek his face for guidance, you will achieve your goals and receive your hearts desires in alignment with his will.
No matter the obstacles you face, No-Thing is impossible with God. The word itself says, “Im Possible.” Stop doubting, put your trust in God and not yourself. Follow the instructions contained in his word, then you can receive all the possibilities of God’s unmerited grace and favor.
