Consistent Faith

Anything that you desire to do well requires due diligence and consistency. When it comes to the growth and development of your faith, you must study the word of God on a consistent basis to receive revelation, discernment and the skills to make good decisions.

You may feel like the Lord has forsaken you because He gives you free will and the choices you made failed miserably. Some damages can be reversed quickly, but some take a lifetime of effort to restore.

As soon as I began a practice of consistently studying and applying His direction for my life, nothing seems the same and I now experience peace in the mist of my storms.

When you are inconsistent in your approach to anything, your results will be haphazard and unstable. Things may go okay sometimes, but other times, utter chaos can occur.  Consistently studying God’s Word helps you to make sound spiritual decisions which will have a positive affect in all areas of your life.

So to be consistent in your walk with the Lord, you need to follow the principles according to I Corinthians 13:58.  “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

Study, trust, believe, apply, get wisdom, use discernment, recognize revelation and be obedient to what the spirit is saying to you consistently.
