Romans 12:3 ~ “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”
The Bible teaches that you are given a measure of faith by God. This gift is just one of the ways He equips you to handle the challenges of life. Although He has given you a measure of faith, it is your responsibility to nurture, develop and watch it grow. You must remember that anything you achieve or acquire is not of your own doing, but rather the favor of God by faith!
Your faith is revealed in your character. The deeper your faith, the higher your character. The more you exercise your faith, the more God you’ll receive from God. Your faith reflects your trust in God and your willingness to fulfill His calling on your life. There are an infinite number of blessings God will bestow, as you put your trust in Him.
In the same manner in which you determine who is deserving of your gifts, I imagine God looks at you the same. If you give someone a gift and they don’t appreciate or take care of it, would you be likely to give them another? Well, God has already given you a measure of faith. Ask yourself this question. Have you proven yourself faithful to him by utilizing your God-given talents to enhance your life and uplift his kingdom?
