Words of Encouragement

Whenever you worry about something it causes you to focus on the difficulty or trouble. It takes your focus off God and places it on your limited abilities. Although His word says you can do all things through Him, your faith waivers because you’re thinking about what you can do on your own.

Worry is a natural instinct of your flesh. So it’s understandable why you have moments of uncertainty, even as a believer. It’s true that healthy self-talk can definitely change your perspective on things. But it doesn’t mean you can’t benefit from encouragement from others.

God places people in your life to give you support, confidence and hope. I call those people in my life “Earth Angels”. These messengers from God encourage you through His word and give you the courage to deal with your situation.

An encouraging word gives you comfort and helps you to deal with the situations of life with peace of mind. You might even experience joy, in the midst of your storm, because you’ve put your faith in God for the outcome.

“Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up.” Proverbs 12:25 NLT
