Be Still And Watch

When you’re experiencing difficulties it can be hard to stay calm. That is why it’s so important to know God’s word so you’ll find comfort in any situation. It’s true that God helps those who helps themselves. But when you’re relying on your own understanding you may fall victim to fear.

There will be things in your life that despite your best efforts, you have no control over. In those situations your job is to wait patiently and courageously knowing that God has everything under control. Moses may not have known exactly how God would deliver the Israelites, but he knew that He would!

God has promised to be with you at all times. Therefore, no matter how the enemy attacks, you are protected. You forfeit your peace when you leave God out of the scenario and try to handle the problem by yourself. Learn to put your total trust in God and know when to be still and watch. If you trust Him, He will  work things out in your favor.

“But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” Exodus 14:13-14 NLT
