When you look at these signs, what do think? Your answer will be based upon your perspective. Some may say they’ve reached the end of the road. Where others may see a temporary delay, but opt to continue the journey. Then there are those that look at moving ahead as a challenge worth taking to earn their reward.
Life can be that way sometimes. One day you’re full speed ahead on your journey and next thing you know you’re forced to take the road less traveled. But don’t be deterred. Sometimes the road less traveled is the most rewarding. It is a road which causes you to exercise your faith in God and grow your spiritual muscles to improve your character development.
So next time you’re headed in the direction that will ultimately lead to victory, don’t let bumps in the road or signs indicating there are challenges ahead stop you. Sometimes you have to change your mode of travel. In the attached photo cars are restricted from proceeding, but sometimes a hike is more thrilling than a ride.
Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
If God has something for you on the other side of an obstacle, it’s always in your best interest to trust Him and then do your part to receive the promises He has in store for you.
