Every day of your life you are required to make decisions. Some are small, such as, what you will eat for breakfast. Then there are those which are life altering, such as deciding to move across the country for a job opportunity.
There are a lot of resources you can use to make good choices. The most important one for a believer is spiritual discernment. The Holy Spirit is there to guide you towards the best decisions.
However, spiritual discernment is something that must be developed through your relationship with Christ. You must study His Word and pray for revelation. It is imperative that you follow the prompting of the Holy Spirit and not your logic and emotions in order to make wise decisions.
In Proverbs 18:15 it says, “The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out.” In order to make good life choices, you have to utilize spiritual discernment to navigate the challenges you face. Learn to seek Christ in all that you do so that your path may be made straight and you may live life with fewer regrets.
