We live in a world where it seems to be okay to say whatever you want however you want. The problem with this mentality is that those words aren’t usually extended with grace.
It’s not that you don’t have the right to your opinion or the freedom of expression. However, when your words aren’t presented with compassion and care, people get hurt.
It is important that you think before you speak, be intentional with your words and say them from a place of peace. In order for your words to have a positive impact, you must use them carefully.
When you are presented with words that hurt, you have the power to reject them because they are not meant to help you but hurt you.
Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone. Colossians 4:6 NLT.
