Life is good and you have so much to be thankful for. As you continue in the spirit of the Thanksgiving holidays, I pray you were reminded of all the things you’re grateful for. I also pray you’ve made a conscious decision to carry that attitude of gratitude into the days ahead.
You often hear people say, “I’m going through!” That declaration is indicative of them experiencing a season of difficulty. When you’re going through difficult times, your faith will be tested. Sometimes you may feel like no one understands and you have to face your trials alone.
The truth is God never abandons you. Isaiah 43:2 says, “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.”
I don’t know about you, but the scenarios in the scripture above seem pretty dire. If He’ll be with you in those situations, there’s nothing in your life that He can’t pull you through. God doesn’t leave you hanging when the going gets tough. In fact, when things are at the worst, you’ll see God operating at His best.
