As you settle down from the day our nation has set aside as a day Thanksgiving, hopefully it reignited an attitude of gratitude. This has been a particularly challenging year for everyone, but one of the takeaways from it’s twists and turns should be a renewed focus on what really matters.
Experiencing difficulties has a way of changing your perspective. Things that seemed important now pale in comparison to the adjustments you’ve had to make during the midst of a pandemic. Some things that used to be important are no longer a priority.
This year has prompted you to appreciate intangibles over material possessions. If things have not been particularly troublesome in your life, seeing your family, friends, and even strangers struggle should have evoked a sense of compassion and thankfulness in you.
At Faith2Inspire, LLC we want to encourage you to carry on this spirit of thanksgiving brought on by our national holiday into the rest of your life. We all have something to be grateful for. Just in case things are dark for you right now and you can’t think of anything, we’d like to leave you with the following passage:
Psalms 100:4-5 KJV ~ “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”
An Attitude of Gratitude will brighten your entire outlook on life! Now stop what you’re doing and thank God for all He’s done and continues to do in your life.
