To say we are living in uncertain times is an understatement. In fact, history reveals that these may be some of the strangest times some of us have ever witnessed. There’s social unrest, political divides, economic decline, mental instability, and a pandemic just to name a few.
If you take your eyes off Jesus and forget to trust in Him, you will easily find yourself sinking in despair. None of us is going to make it out of here alive. Believe it or not, that’s the good news! As believers we are guaranteed to live our eternity in a better place. It is our hope in that belief which sustains us during the challenging times we live in today.
To keep your sanity in the midst of the chaos circling around you, put your faith in God alone. In Philippians 4:7 you’re told, “Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”
This my fellow believers is what you need to hold on to. Yes, life can be difficult and there are times you’ll want to give up. But hold on to God’s unchanging hand. Help is on the way!
