Love is the true G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) when it comes to emotions. It is deep and intense. It is a necessary ingredient in dealing with adversity or challenging times. When you love someone you are unwavering in your devotion and demonstrating unconditional love.
In order to qualify as unconditional love certain things are required. First, you must never give up. Even when things are tough, you must resolve to stay committed. Second, you must believe. Don’t worry about being gullible. The burden is on the other party to be honest.
Third, you must have hope. You must stand on the promises of God being confident that He will do exactly what He says. Fourth, you must have patience to endure. You can’t give up when the going gets tough. Even if it means setting your own feelings aside to emulate the love of God. But it does not mean staying in an abusive relationship in the name of love.
Love has duality by being a noun and a verb. It should never be reduced to lip service. Once you make a declaration of love, you should validate it by your actions. Those actions should be based upon the example set by God. Loving as God does can be hard, but it’s necessary to overcome bad times.
