You must keep the faith when you’re going through difficult times. Although you may feel overwhelmed, you must remember that God is with you always.
A furnace is an enclosed structure in which material can be heated to very high temperatures. During difficult times you may feel like the heat has been turned up in your life like a fiery furnace. You may feel like giving up because you can’t see any way through your situation.
The good news is just as God was with the three Hebrew boys thrown into the fiery furnace by King Nebuchadnezzar, He will provide a way of escape for you too. He did not allow them to be consumed and they did not come out smelling like smoke.
You may have heard the saying, “You don’t look like what you been through.” It’s a testament to the fact that God covers you with grace. So not only does He rescue you from trouble, He orchestrates the events in such a way that you can understand the purpose of your pain.
How can you be grateful when you’re going through tough times? You must trust that God will only allow what’s best for you. He will be with you in good and bad times. With God you are never alone and He will never give you more than you can bear.
